I hand-dyed these soft cotton velveteen fabrics using Shibori techniques several years ago, I made one quilt with them and then they sat on my fabric shelf for awhile. I pulled them out recently and have made 2 lap throws with them. They are made of 2 layers of fabric, the velveteen and an African batiked cotton for the backing. Fabrics are stitched together raw edge on top of one another. This has made the throw very soft and cuddly. Size 62"" x 56"
